FORGING URTAGH: THE EVOLUTION

FORGING URTAGH: THE EVOLUTION OF A NIGHTMARE

It started as a simple idea for a dark fantasy comic. A straightforward story of survival and submission. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that demanding readers don’t want “simple”. They want a world that breathes. They want absolute logic. I refused to rely on cheap tricks, primitive solutions, or lazy plot holes.

That drive for perfection pushed me down the rabbit hole. A single comic concept mutated into a massive, gapless universe. Complete with its own ironclad mythology, strict laws, and grounded firmly in a brutal reality. I have spent weeks meticulously refining every detail. I wrote custom scripts to realistically render this harsh environment and built entirely new post-processing workflows just to capture the raw dirt and sweat of the wasteland.

But I didn’t build this in an echo chamber. Every single idea, every mechanic, I discussed endlessly. I tore them apart with my friends, my wife, and later, with multiple AI engines. I didn’t just look for validation; I actively hunted for holes. I demanded that my friends, my wife, and the AIs expose any logical inconsistencies. We did this repeatedly. Whenever a crack appeared, I made the changes. I tore it down and rebuilt it until it was bulletproof.

Right now, the conceptual foundation of Urtagh is practically complete. The world stands on its own. Now, I am solely focused on forging the fates of the characters. But the process hasn’t changed. I still discuss their paths, I still hunt for flaws in my own concepts. I still find them, and I constantly fix them. The grind never stops.

Because of this, Urtagh is no longer just a comic. It is an introduction to a living world. A world that is cruel and primitive, yet bound by absolute honor, naked truth, and fierce pride. Most importantly, it is inextricably linked to our modern reality. Urtagh’s raw, unforgiving nature exists to brutally expose our civilized weakness.

This meticulous planning allowed me to engineer a massive plot twist that will hit you right in the first issue. And just when you think you understand the rules of the wasteland, the second issue will drop an even bigger bomb.

Stay with me. Step into Urtagh. I promise you won’t regret it.
